2018 WYBA Club Teams

Thanks to all who attended the 2018 WYBA Club try-outs. This year we will have a 2004 (14U) team and a 2003 (15U) team.

Practice players (“*”) will practice with the team but will not play in tournaments. If a roster player cannot attend a tournament, the first practice player will have the first option to attend the tournament.  Travel to the tournament for practice players, is not mandatory‎.

Parents of club team members will be contacted soon, regarding an upcoming parent meeting.

Playing time is awarded to those who demonstrate: understanding of team concepts, ability to apply team concepts in the appropriate context, commitment to practices and compete level. Practices are very important and where a lot of teaching takes place. Each practice we build upon what we learned in the previous practice.

Practice days/times at Brandon University (4pm-6pm unless indicated otherwise): 

April 26; May 3, 10, 17 (2003 (15U) only)

April 22 (2004/05 (14U) 5pm-630pm/2003 (15U) 630pm-8pm)

April 28 (2004/05 (14U) 230pm-430pm/2003 (15U) 430pm-630pm)

April 29 (2004/05 (14U) 5pm-630pm/2003 (15U) 630pm-8pm)

2004/05 (14U) will travel to the following tournaments: GYGO (Regina) May 5-6; Manitoba Club Championships (Winnipeg) May 11-13

2003 (15U) will travel to the following tournaments: Manitoba Club Championships (Winnipeg) May 11-13; Hornets (Regina) May 18-20

Cost: ~$150 (cheque or e-transfer) – Includes: shooting top, training fee, competition fees

Transportation to tournaments & accommodations are the team members responsibility
